Overview

This book serves as my thesis project, documenting and reflecting on a body of work developed between 2024 and 2026 at Boston University. Centered around the theme of fragmented identity, it explores how individuals continuously shift and reconstruct their sense of self across physical and digital contexts through a series of design projects. Alongside selected works, the book incorporates interviews with individuals whose research and perspectives relate to this theme, expanding the discussion around identity, connection, and modes of expression. Methodologically, I approach design as a process of role-switching—collecting, editing, translating, and presenting—while maintaining a restrained and minimal visual language to structure complex ideas. This publication functions both as an archive of my practice and a reflection on my evolving design methodology.
