More and more people are choosing to step away from a lifestyle centered on relentless work, saving money, and constant self-sacrifice—one that often produces anxiety and harms both physical and mental health. Instead, they adopt a way of life that deliberately lowers personal desires and expectations in order to ease the pressure of survival. As a form of youth subculture, lying flat culture has continued to spread in recent years and is likely to become more clearly defined in the future.
