This project explores insect phobia by examining why humans fear insects and the psychological causes behind that fear. Based on this research, five insects were reimagined in a non-realistic style and materialized as handmade plaster sculptures, each paired with a corresponding sound effect and presented through video. By combining form, material, sound, and interaction, the project aims to help viewers who are unfamiliar with insect phobia better understand the sensory and psychological experience of those who suffer from it.

本项目以昆虫恐惧症为研究对象，从人类为何会对昆虫产生恐惧这一根源出发，分析此心理现象背后的成因，并尝试将这种恐惧体验转化为可被观看和感受的形式。基于这一研究，项目以非写实的方式重塑了五种昆虫形象，通过自制石膏昆虫的实体制作赋予其更具体的物质感，同时为每一种昆虫分别配以相应的声音效果，并最终以视频形式进行展示。通过结合造型、材质、声音与交互影像，本项目希望让那些对昆虫恐惧症缺乏了解的人，能够更直观地感受到患者面对昆虫时的心理压力与感官体验，从而对这一群体产生更多的理解与共情。
