This project began with my interest in how identity feels when it becomes fragmented—shifting between intimacy and distance, belonging and performance. To explore this, I created a virtual space where emotions and memories could take architectural form. Inspired by my hometown, Suzhou, the space is grounded in warmth, softness, and familiar rhythms, and contrasted with a colder, more impersonal outside world. This tension reflects the thinking of the negotiation between the hidden self and the performed self.

这个项目源于我对“碎片化身份”的思考：当身份在亲密与疏离、归属与表演之间不断转换时，它会呈现怎样的状态。为此，我选择以虚拟空间作为表达媒介，让情绪与记忆以空间化的方式被感知。项目以我的家乡苏州为情感基础，将其温暖、柔和与熟悉的节奏，与外部世界的冷漠和陌生形成对比。这种内外之间的张力，也呼应了我所想表达的隐藏自我与表演自我之间持续的协商。
